This is what large-format printing looks like when it is taken seriously. For this government tourism campaign, we printed and installed the "Labuan Pearl of Borneo" mural across the entire facade of Hotel Labuan — a multi-storey building-wrap visible from the street, from across the field, and from the sea. The print was so large it had to be quality-checked flat on the floor of a covered sports stadium before installation. Every panel joined precisely. Every colour reproduced true to the original artwork. The result became a landmark that defined how Labuan presented itself to the world.
When Expro needed their brand presence felt inside their Labuan office, they needed something that matched the scale of what they do. We printed and installed a full stairwell-height indoor banner — floor to ceiling across multiple floors — showcasing their four core energy service divisions. The print is precise: crisp typography, colour-accurate photography, and clean section divisions that hold up at reading distance and from across the room. Installed by our team in a single day, no disruption to the office.
A plain prayer hall, transformed — no renovation, no tiling. For this surau, Layang designed, printed, and installed a full large-format wall wrap, turning bare walls into an ornate mihrab feature wall: interlacing Islamic geometry, arched niches, Kufic and thuluth calligraphy panels, and a running dado border to match. Every panel printed on durable wall media, aligned seam-to-seam, and smoothed flat by hand from skirting to ceiling. Just print and precision install — and a space that now feels built for worship.
AmBank's Labuan branch already had the presence — a full corner-wrap fascia — but the lights had died, and a signboard that stays dark at night is a brand that vanishes after sunset. We took on the repair: accessing the existing fascia from the rooftop, stripping out the failed lamps, and re-lamping the entire lightbox run and the 3D box-up "am" rooftop logo with fresh LED tubes. Every section rewired, aligned, and tested for an even, full-strength glow — no structural rebuild needed. The result: the branch reads bright and whole again from the roundabout and the road, AmBank and AmBank Islamic reborn after dark.
Haru Pet Shop wanted a shopfront that popped — clean by day, glowing by night, and carrying its Royal Canin partnership with pride. Layang built the whole sign in-house: we printed the crisp black-and-white cat-and-dog artwork, welded and fabricated the steel lightbox frame, fitted the LED illumination, mounted the printed face, and installed the finished box across the shopfront fascia. It reads sharp in daylight and lights the whole frontage after dark — a full retail signboard printed, built, and hung by one team.
Down a row of identical office units, a flat wall sign disappears — Silverknows Business Management Services needed something you could spot from either end of the corridor. Layang built a double-sided round lightbox blade sign: crisp printed faces on a slim illuminated drum, mounted on a steel wall bracket so it projects out from the wall and reads from both directions. Printed, assembled, and installed by our own team — a clean, professional marker that lifts the whole frontage.
A signboard is not decoration — it is the first opinion every passing customer forms about your business before they step inside. When the Department of Museums Malaysia needed new signage for Muzium Marin Labuan, it had to read as sharply by night as by day — and carry the weight a national institution deserves. We fabricated the full "MUZIUM MARIN LABUAN / Labuan Marine Museum" set as illuminated 3D box-up lettering — every channel built and fitted with LED modules in our Labuan workshop, then wrapped, mounted, and wired across the museum's curved entrance fascia. Two backlit brand discs — the Jata Negara and the museum crest — anchor each end. From a bare wall to a fully lit facade in under a week, fabricated and installed on the island with no mainland lead time.
When Labuan Game Centre became MAIDA ESPORTS, the shopfront had to announce the change the moment you walked past. We stripped the old identity and built the new one end to end: a full-width black lightbox signboard with dimensional 3D box-up lettering that stays crisp under mall lighting, plus a complete glass-front rebrand — frosted window bands, the "Welcome / Business Hours / maidaesports.my" decal, and a side blade sign. Fabricated and installed in-house here in Labuan, turning a tired game shop into an esports hub that finally looks the part.
OMNI Oil Technologies wanted their entrance wall to carry the brand the moment you arrived — clean by day, glowing by night. We ran it end to end from the approved artwork: setting the logo and "OMNI OIL TECHNOLOGIES" lettering out on the wall from a printed template, drilling and pre-wiring for illumination, then mounting the dimensional green box-up logo and letters to exact spec. Finished with concealed LED halo lighting that traces every letter in a soft green glow after dark. From design proof to a backlit landmark — the client's vision, built and lit exactly as drawn.
Deleum's Labuan base needed corporate signage that matched the company's stature — and Layang built the whole thing in-house, from raw sheet to finished facade. We fabricated the deep 3D box-up "DELEUM" lettering and the custom swirl-and-droplet logo in our own workshop — cut, formed, bonded, and sprayed to Deleum's exact corporate red and grey — then boom-lifted the pieces up and mounted them true and level across the building fascia. No outsourcing, no mainland lead time: designed, made, and installed on the island, exactly to the client's brand.
A community hemodialysis centre has to be found fast — clear, calm, and unmistakable from the road. For Pusat Hemodialisis MAIWP-PICOMS, Layang built the fascia sign from the ground up: CNC-cut 3D box-up lettering, set out and fixed to a deep maroon panel, then fitted with white LED modules so the name reads bright by day and glows by night. Fabricated in our Labuan workshop and installed clean across the shopfront fascia — from a blank wall to a landmark the community can spot at a glance.
A new school hall deserves a name board that looks the part and lasts. For Dewan Bambusa at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bebuloh, Layang designed, printed, and fabricated a large aluminium composite panel (ACP) signboard — the school crest, "DEWAN BAMBUSA", and motto laid out on a clean blue-gradient face — then mounted it high on the hall's gable to read across the whole compound. Cut, routed, and finished to spec in our workshop, and installed on site with the fascia work. Built for the sea air: crisp today, crisp in ten years.
Aluminium composite panel cladding is the standard exterior finish for commercial and government buildings that need precision and weather resistance. Every government works project needs its papan tanda projek up and standing before the first wall comes down — accurate, weather-proof, and to standard. For Perbadanan Labuan's demolition of the former Hotel Labuan, Layang built the whole board from scratch: colour-matched to the standard orange, panels cut and fabricated, the project particulars and Perbadanan Labuan crest applied slat by slat, then framed on heavy steel legs and installed on site facing Jalan Merdeka. Owner, project, contractor, and dates — every line laid out clean and legible, on the record before work began.
Oil & gas contractors run on a paper trail, and it starts with the project signboard. For HZN Associates (M) Sdn Bhd's Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) change-out at the Labuan Crude Oil Terminal — a Hibiscus Petroleum project — Layang produced the full papan tanda projek from the approved artwork: crisp panels carrying every required particular (site owner, contractor, client, project, contract number, and dates), fabricated in the workshop, then framed on steel posts and installed on site. Clean, legible, and compliant — up and standing before the record was called.
JKR works come with a strict board spec — the right layout, the right particulars, the Membangun Malaysia Madani livery, all readable from the roadside. For the Ministry of Health's completion of the Labuan health-staff quarters (a JKR-administered, Pembinaan Purcon contract), Layang produced the full papan tanda projek to standard: the yellow-and-white JKR board carrying every project particular — client, controlling officers, contractor, and contract dates — fabricated in panels and installed on steel posts on site. Built exactly to the JKR template, up and legible before mobilisation.
Every construction project in Malaysia requires a project signboard that meets JKR and CIDB layout specifications. When Rancha Power broke ground on its 120MW power plant — a ceremony officiated by the Deputy Prime Minister — Layang produced the entire event build from the ground up. From the approved 3D design, we large-format printed the graphics, fabricated the sculptural entrance archway and decorative panels in our own workshop, then constructed it all on a seaside site: the grand "Majlis Pecah Tanah · 120MW" arch, backdrop, photo features, red carpet, and landscaping — day-ready and lit for the evening. A full VIP event brought to life on the island, on schedule and to government standard.
For Labuan's Borneo Arts Festival, the grounds had to guide thousands of visitors at a glance. Layang produced and installed the festival's large-format wayfinding — the full site-map directory board and public-area notices — mounted onto the park's decorative gateway frames. We brought in a lorry crane to hoist the big directory board into place and finished the rest by hand: colour-accurate, weather-ready, and fixed square for a five-day outdoor festival. Printed, delivered, and installed across the venue by our own team.
Every Ramadan, Labuan's bazaars line the roadside — and Perbadanan Labuan needed each one to greet visitors properly. Layang produced and installed the "Selamat Datang · Bazar Ramadan" welcome gateways across multiple bazaar sites: large-format banners in deep blue and gold, with lanterns and mosque arches, mounted on built-up steel frames at each entrance. We fabricated the structures, printed colour-true, and installed on site through the week — squaring each banner tight against the frame, whatever the location. The whole bazaar circuit, branded and ready before the fasting month began.
When Perbadanan Labuan welcomed Ramadan 1445 at Dataran Labuan, the stage needed a centrepiece worthy of the occasion. We printed and rigged the full "Marhaban Ya Ramadan" backdrop — a large-format banner in deep night-blue with gilded lanterns, a crescent moon, and a mosque skyline — colour-true and crisp enough to read clearly from across the square, then mounted it on a truss frame front and centre on the event stage. Printed, delivered, and installed in time for the ceremony, to government standard on an event timeline.
